The Second Gem of Tutenkhamein: Part VII...

Gayatri arrived with an Egyptian police officer to meet Mr. Roy, the Officer-in-Charge of the local police department. The officer had accompanied her in pursuit of a high-profile theft—the disappearance of a rare historical artifact from the Cairo Museum. Through the intelligence network of the Egyptian police, the stolen item had been traced not only to India but specifically to Mr. Roy’s jurisdiction.

Even more intriguing, the case appeared to be linked to a gruesome triple murder at a secluded restaurant on the city’s outskirts. Upon hearing the details, Mr. Roy assured the visiting officer—through Gayatri’s translation—that he would personally escort them to the site of the murders and the surrounding area now under suspicion.

Meanwhile, deep within the thick canopy of the Chilapata Reserve Forest, a motorbike came to a halt in front of an abandoned hut. Once a shelter for forest officers, the hut had since fallen out of use—but a faint lantern glow indicated it was no longer unoccupied. As the biker softly hummed a tune, the creaky wooden door slowly swung open.

A quiet exchange took place between the biker and the figures inside the hut, located in a remote area known as Guntur. One of the occupants warned him of a rogue elephant prowling nearby. With the goods the biker had delivered now in hand, the group retrieved a second motorcycle hidden among the trees and slipped silently into the jungle under its cover.

And with that, **Episode 7** draws to a close.
