Cairo Museum : Representative Image

This is the fourth part of my Bengali story: Tutenkhamein’r dwitiyo ratno.

In this part, Raju’s Uncle was the curator in charge that night when the board game was stolen from a room on the museum's second floor. According to him, there are 3500 artefacts conserved in the Cairo Museum. Visiting hours are from 9 AM to 7 PM. Due to the youtube’s in recent years the number of visitors has increased exponentially. That is why the existing system of security is generally not as hard as it is in the non-visiting hours. Moreover, during the morning session, the number of visitors is maximum and so at that time, it is extremely difficult to maintain the same level of security as it is in the night. So Raju’s uncle was pondering whether that was the time when the thief had entered the museum and had not come out even after the closing of visiting hours. But then also as the museum is totally monitored by CCTV except for the bathrooms. But the corridors in front of the bathrooms are also covered with CCTV. Even after minutely observing the recording of the corridor CCTV no suspicious person was observed. So how the thief entered the museum and went out after he stole the board game is a mystery.

In the audio of the story, I mistakenly referred to this episode as Part III. It is the fourth instalment of the story. I'm sorry for this mistake.
