The story revolves around a real-life experience of a student returning home from a trip through the Dhali Express during August. The train was his regular route, as it allowed him to reach his home within a week. The train took seven hours and was convenient for those who could easily catch cabs or buses to their homes in south Kolkata.
During this journey, the student met his co-passenger, Ghosh, who was also traveling to Howrah. They had a good connection and had a good relationship. However, an incident occurred over 20 years ago when they were discussing about the recently concluded India England One Day series at Barbati Stadium. The security guards stopped them, but they managed to escape by showing their college ID cards.
At one of the students a group of person embarked the train. They are unruly ,disturbing and miscreants. They force other passengers to leave their reserved seats to accommodate them. As a result of this hooliganism the student was also forced to leave his window seat which he reluctantly obey. But what happen after then restores his believe in God….
