In Part 24 of The Blue Rafflesia, Mr. Mohanti and Mr. Bakshi travel from Bhubaneswar Airport to Andaman Airport to investigate the mystery of the Blue Raphlesia flower. They are trained and experienced police officers who were involved in the murder of gangster Ganesh at the Shimripal Resort. However, they are not as experienced as Mr. Panda, who was deputed to solve the case of the roaming tiger in Bhubaneswar.
Panda is informed that the investigating officers of the murder at Shimlipal Resorts are going on a secret mission. Professor Bhattacharya and Jayanta are missing from their home, and they were kidnapped while on a safari. They are now investigating the case of the murder of Ganesh at the Simlipal Resort.
A tiger was accused of killing Ganesh, but no proof of a tiger visiting the resort has been found. In Bhuvaneswar, a tiger was sighted roaming in and around the city, last sighted near the house of Professor Bhattacharya and the parking lot where Mr. Jayanta was present.
Panda is unsure if Professor Bhattacharya was correct in his conclusion that the tiger was a holographic image of a real tiger, and if the case at Simnipal Resort is also unreal. He must catch both officers to progress into the case of the roaming tiger in BBSR.
Panda's car drove towards Biju Patnaik International Airport, while Mohanty and Bakshi's taxi had already arrived. Panda was unaware of the third car following him, a Wagon R with two passengers. Panda's main goal was to catch Mohanti and Bakshi. At the airport, Panda asked about the status of the plane they were supposed to use. However, security checking was underway, and no one showed up. Panda was confused about the lack of information about Bakshi and Patnaik, wondering if central agencies were involved. The third car following Panda also reached the airport. The story will continue in Part 25, where the fate of Bakshi and Patnaik is revealed.
